Description

VideoJug offers instructional videos for a wide range of topics. Many videos are produced in-house by VideoJug but users can also upload their own videos or create instructional slideshows. Users can comment on the videos. There is the ability to add text for each frame - an alternative to captioning if this has not been done at the time of making the video. Tagging and sharing with others on My Space etc is also possible. There is a discussion forum and categories of videos to help with searching.

Accessibility Testing Results

The site is easy to navigate and with videos to help with uploading and others about editing etc. it is possible to become and expert just by using the site! There are text transcripts with most videos. The contrast levels are good but text sizes tend to be rather small unless zoom is used. The player used is Flash based so only accessible via the keyboard in some browsers such as Internet Explorer.
