Description

BubbleShare is a utility that creates image galleries that can be embedded on web pages. Users publish their photos to the BubbleShare website, where they can be manipulated. Short audio or video captions can be stored for each image.

This service is no longer accepting photographs and those images uploaded must be removed by November 2009

Accessibility Testing Results

Text input fields were not well labelled and login was difficult with a screen reader as it was an overlay to the main page rather than a new window. Alt tags were not available for uploaded pictures and many already on view were unhelpful. Contrast levels for some text was not good although text size was good.

11Accessibility of Text Editors Fair There is no rich text editor on this site.
12Appropriate Feedback with Forms Good The site does not always provide clear feedback, expecting users to know what they should do next.
13Contrast and Colour Check Poor Main menu items at top of page, headings and form labels have very poor contrast.
14Page Integrity when Zooming Excellent The website maintains the layout and usability of all critical areas perfectly when zoomed.
15Text size, style, blinking elements and Readability Excellent The majority of text on the site is size 12 and sans-serif.
