Description

Wet paint wiki allows you to create numerous webpages. The service includes templates, so each node has the same style. It also allows users to place discussions on pages, allowing content to be generated and discussed in the same place. The wiki has an image upload framework. The dynamically created contents bar, with divisions and subpages makes navigation very easy.

Accessibility Testing Results

The login is a javascript overlay and does not have labels although it is easy to login using WebbIE - if Internet Explorer is used with Thunder screen reader the user would not be aware that the cursor has jumped to the login. Keyboard access is good in most areas, with keyboard short cuts available and fonts on the various websites are usually very readable. Colour contrast is good on most templates and layout easy to navigate. AbilityNet have chosen Webpaint for their wiki service and offer assistive technology access advice.
