Description

Part of the Zoho suite of online productivity tools. It provides a clean PowerPoint-like interface for creating slide shows. Users can upload PowerPoint files which are immediately loaded into their area. Editing is in a similar interface to PowerPoint with the ability to save, publish and share slides.

Accessibility Testing Results

The edit mode is very similar to PowerPoint but sadly not all aspects are keyboard accessible - so you can reach the shapes but not drag them to the edit area without the use of the mouse. Notes can be added for each slide in text readable format. Links in the edit mode are all in javascript and not accessible to a screen reader. However, the player on the main site is keyboard accessible and if the publisher has added notes or a transcript this can be read. Text is small but with good contrast and zooms well on the main site but not so easy on the editor.

1	Login, Signup and Other Forms Accessible		Forms have missing labels and registration requires a Captcha to be read. This registration can be done through Google and Yahoo.
2	Image ALT Attributes		Not all images on this site offer alternative text - this may cause screenreader users to have a differing understanding of the content.
3	Link Target Definitions		Names of presentations in this product may be ambiguous if the users are not aware how important this can be for a screen reader user.
4	Frame Titles and Layout		This product makes critical use of frames, none of which have suitable names.
5	Removal of Stylesheet		The designer 'collapses' when the stylesheet is removed - the product is unusable.
6	Audio/Video Features		The slides developed are in PowerPoint type format so may have text and images.
7	Video/animations - audio descriptions		It is not possible to add audio descriptions to the slides developed.
8	Appropriate use of Tables		Tables are used to construct this site - this may cause some screenreaders to read the content in the wrong order.
9	Tab Orderings Correct and Logical		Tab order is in a logical and consistent top-to-bottom or left-to-right format.
10	Page Functionality with Keyboard		This site is a presentation creation tool. It inherently requires a drag-and-drop operation with a pointing device.
11	Accessibility of Text Editors		Text editor is not accessible with the screenreader or keyboard.
12	Appropriate Feedback with Forms		The product provides suitable feedback when the user performs an action.
13	Contrast and Colour Check		Critical menu items such as New/Open/etc are unreadble due to contrast.
14	Page Integrity when Zooming		For the zoom to have effect upon the whole designer, the page must be refreshed. Otherwise, the page resizes well.
15	Text size, style, blinking elements and Readability		Particularly small text prevalent throughout the site, which may be difficult to view without zooming the page.
