Description

Video creation/editing application. Users create videos which are then shared with the community where there will soon be a wiki. It offers video, photo, and audio upload in over 100 formats and turns them into Flash files that can carry tags and descriptions. It offers a fairly professional way of editing video clipsand sharing files.

Accessibility Testing Results

The editing and playing is all Flash based so there is keyboard access only in certain browsers and really this should be considered a mouse user's site. The site was easy to navigate and linearised well, test was small but zoom is possible in the main areas.

9Tab Orderings Correct and Logical Excellent Tab order is in a logical and consistent top-to-bottom or left-to-right format.
10Page Functionality with Keyboard Poor This site is built around Flash and therefore requires the use of a pointing device. It is not possible to reach the player with a keyoard, unless using Internet Explorer
11Accessibility of Text Editors Poor Text editor is not accessible with the screenreader or keyboard.
12Appropriate Feedback with Forms Excellent The product provides suitable feedback when the user performs an action.
13Contrast and Colour Check Good No contrast issues, although text and background colours vary throughout the site.
14Page Integrity when Zooming Excellent The website maintains the layout and usability of all critical areas perfectly when zoomed.
15Text size, style, blinking elements and Readability Good The majority of text on the site is size ten, which is readable but may be uncomfortable for some.
