Description

Intended as the primary storage location for people's digital video. Features storage, editing and sharing and allows users to embed videos on private blogs or websites. It is possible to save videos to a DVD or print out in a flip book.

Accessibility Testing Results

Although the majority of the site is keyboard navigable and accessible the Flash video upload, editor and player are only usable with a keyboard in certain browsers such as Internet Explorer. The grey with green once logged in and other small text can make readability hard in places. There are a mix of fonts. Feedback is good when loading videos and instructions are clear.

10Page Functionality with Keyboard Poor Pages cannot be navigated with a keyboard because the user becomes 'stuck' in a loop with no further tab links although they are clearly visible and can be accessed in text mode.
11Accessibility of Text Editors Poor Text editor is not accessible with the screenreader or keyboard.
12Appropriate Feedback with Forms Fair This site has poor feedback and closure, sometimes resulting in confusion for the user.
13Contrast and Colour Check Fair Site body text verges on violating validation rules. Much use of pale grey on grey.
14Page Integrity when Zooming Excellent The website maintains the layout and usability of all critical areas perfectly when zoomed.
15Text size, style, blinking elements and Readability Fair Particularly small text prevalent throughout the site, which may be difficult to view without zooming the page.
