Accessibility Testing Results

Blogger is generally accessible and easy to use, with many customization options. Zooming works well, and the page can be navigated without a mouse. There are some issues, such as images lacking alt tags, and the text editor toolbar not being accessible without a mouse.

1	Login, Signup and Other Forms Accessible		Existing Google accounts can be used to signup. The Google signup could make better use of clear labels, although the form for creating a blog is clearer.

9	Tab Orderings Correct and Logical		Tab orderings are correct and logical, in a top-to-bottom or left-to-right format.
10	Page Functionality with Keyboard		The page is fully accessible without a mouse.
11	Accessibility of Text Editors		Basic functionallity is accessible, the editor can be tabbed in to and out again. The toolbar can not be accessed, however.
12	Appropriate Feedback with Forms		Appropriate feedback is given to the user when they perform an action.
13	Contrast and Colour Check		There are some contrast issues such as light blue text on white backgrounds on the default pages, although each user has the option to change colour schemes on their own blog.
14	Page Integrity when Zooming		The layout and readability of the site are unaffected by zooming.
15	Text size, style, blinking elements and Readability		The majority of text is size 10, which may be uncomfortable for some. Fonts are sans-serif and there is no flashing or blinking content.
