Description

Online real-time shared whiteboard and teaching tool. Has real-time chat, tests, VLE and allows teachers to collaborate over presentations. You can set up a profile and try the tests before submitting. There is a forum where dates and times for sessions can be set up - US times make it a little awkward when you are told your live session is at 01.00am GMT! The layout for the whiteboard window allows for text chat, watching the video and sharing documents.

Accessibility Testing Results

The site offers users the chance to make accessible presentations although the editors and players are Flash based - the video can be provided with text transcriptions and chat to support users. It is not keyboard accessible in all browsers. The e-mail type forum is easy to use and most of the instructions are clear. Test questions are set with multiple choices which may not suit all learners but they are well laid out. The Captchas do have clearer text compared to most but are not screen readable. Text and colour contrasts are good.
