Description

This site offers a very quick way of collecting news feeds from other sites and sharing them. It is fast RSS/Atom feed reader, allowing for many more feeds compared to other sites as well as offers short cut keystrokes to speed the process and a link menu button for sites and browsers.

Accessibility Testing Results

On the whole the site is easy to use and offers relatively good accessibility although sadly it is not possible to change the short cut keystrokes so they may conflict with screen reader access keys. They are also not text friendly in that they are offered as an overlay on the page. Some labels are missing and some alt tags but these do not affect use of the site in WebbIE. Contrast levels are good and text is readable, but zooming can cuase major problems on some browsers.

1Login, Signup and Other Forms Accessible Fair The labelling of forms is good but the captcha has no alternative. It is possible to log in using a Yahoo ID.
2Image ALT Attributes Excellent Alternative text is offered for all critical images on the site - screenreader users will be able to understand the content as clearly as others.
3Link Target Definitions Excellent All links, including images which would otherwise be ambiguous, have titles to uniquely identify them.
4Frame Titles and Layout Excellent No frames or iframes, which can be disorientating for screen-readers, are used in the design.
