Description

Lets users create mind maps which can be shared with others through the site or downloaded in several formats including Freemind, MindManager, pdf, rtf outline and image formats. Nodes on the maps can be tagged with small icons. Text and backgrounds of maps can be changed and it is possible to generate ideas quickly with use of the keyboard.

Accessibility Testing Results

The real use of the maps is gained through mouse use with dragging of entire area, adding branches, moving and altering things. However, it is possible to use the arrow and tab keys within maps but not to get out! Size, text and colours can all be altered once you are making map and it is not wise to use the zoom feature at this stage as overlaps develop. The general site zooms well for text and colour contrast is good. Text to speech works with text as it is added or when it is highlighted, but not when viewing closed maps.
